Even if Amaya could understand Senko’s intentions of recklessly leaping into the middle of five ninjas of whom he knew nothing about, Amaya wouldn’t have decided to flee anyways. Senko would be grateful of this when the three ninja that were not occupied Senko’s assault, leaped back into separates tree two forming different seals and one reaching into her pouch. Meanwhile, the shinobi that attempted to strike Senko with a lightning bolt [for which was deflected] swung a sparking fist at Senko’s chest, deadly volts of electricity surging through his knuckles.

“Tenmetsu-kō no jutsu!”

“Kaminari Kumo no su jutsu!”

Amaya eyes widen at the words of the second jutsu and all that was seen was her knees bending before a blinding flash of light exploded throughout the area, eradicating the shadows and stunning surrounding eyes. The sound the electricity was surrounding the entire area. After speaking to the survivals of the lightning shinobi of their last encounter, they learned that Amaya’s jutsu originated from her flute, and the Senko had shadow like jutsu, mainly with shadow jumping as he did to transport two of the ninja attacking Amaya to a mountainside cliff. Thus they acted accordingly to the information. Depending on what Senko did would decide the outcome of this. Amaya screamed out for Senko to leap into the air, but her words were muffled by an explosion [explained later].

Tenmetsu-ko no jutsu, or lighting flash technique, was pretty self explanatory, but Kaminari Kumo no su jutsu was the same technique utilized to paralyzed Amaya’s legs upon stepping on the electric web—but this shinobi seemed much more skilled at it, being the only one casting it, and how far/where it traveled was hidden by the flash, even its chakra veiled. As if this wasn’t enough, the third shinobi that had not drawn seals released two kunai, targeting the tree Senko occupied and armed with explosive tags that shortly went off after the jutsu.

Whether they cared about their partner that stood on the tree with Senko or they were sure the shinobi would be fine was a mystery.

[Spoiler: The lightening is lined across the ground, centered around where Amaya stands/stood and reaching about 20ft in each direction]

As Rin continued on her way, it was well known that there were other nin in the area. IF the giant flash of light didn't give it away, then nothing would have. Immediately she was wary, if there was a battle of nin, she likely didn't want to approach. But on the other hand, perhaps she should check it out. Her naturally curious nature decided that she would approach. However, she was cautious. THe chakra of the Kyuubi was hard to hide, even in the jar, she knew it would be noticeable. She drew on it as she approached the scene. Immediately her eyes fell on Amaya, ah, hell. Did she really want to help the girl? But at the same time, she couldn't just leave her there. And she had yet to notice Senko. Her hands flew into seals: Kirigakure no Sato. The thick fog rolled over the area, ceasing most vision except for those that were used to seeing in the thick fog. The kaminari-nin were likely to be disorientated by it.

That done, Rin's hands immediately moved to her Katana, drawing it from it's sheathe as her form moved cautiously closer. However, the sight of the electric field made her pause. She was not sure of what would counter that, so she powered her sword with chakra, and gave the devestating blow that would send a surge of sheer chakra into the field of electricity, towards the one who seemed to be casting the jutsu.

Senko's crimson optics followed the movement of the other's hand as they brought it to strike upon his chest. His own form shifting back and to the left as the electrified fist moved inches from him. His left arm, as if suddenly healed of all injuries, abruptly popped up over his head, his left elbow then striking straight down into the other's elbow, causing their arm to bend up. His form would then push forward as he brought the left fist to slam into the man's nose, in a vertical backhand style. Temporarily stunning the other nin, Senko leapt back distancing himself from the other, only to suddenly be blinded by a massive flash of light, his ears deaf to Amaya's scream to jump, their attention caught by the monstrous roar released by the blinding bolt.

Sailing backwards with decent speed, he'd suddenly stop, his body coming to a jerkish dead halt. His back bent inwards a little and air was pushed from his lungs, he'd jumped backwards into a tree.... loss of situational awareness unfortunately taking its toll. Senko's body would slid a few inches down the trunk before his feet came to standing upon a mighty branch, his mind racing with fear. Of course this fear would suddenly end and relief would begin to take hold, causing his nerves to ease. The cool mist which flowed in from now where was a familiar technique, one that meant they had an ally. This technique would ultimately give him an unbridled advantage!

His eyes shut, his ears became deaf, the world no longer held smells or sounds for him, his body was numb. Yet within his minds eye he could see everything. Rin..... good she was here. Senko's extrasensory ability was truly astounding, it allowed him to see all ambient, natural and individual chakras within the surrounding area. His view became third person, he could see himself, he could see others. He could change his view angle allowing him to see around objects which he normally would not be able to, but most importantly he was able to take things in instantly. Of course this technique did have some draw backs, by reducing blood and chakra flow to everything but the mind and some of his muscles, Senko could effectively kill himself by causing major organs to fail, meaning he could only use this technique for so long. Further more due to the techniques ability to see all types of chakra and see the impact of real world objects on the chakra, and distinguish between say two stones natural ambient chakra due to the minute difference in the way it moved, meant that Senko was taking in an amazing amount of information. This being said it could very well lag his brain, which would make acting and reacting accordingly damn near impossible. Yet by increasing the blood flow and chakra to the brain even more he could up the processing power, allowing him to take in more faster.... the downfall of course being that he could literally over heat his brain and cause portions of it to melt, exploding, or just die. This of course once more adding time constraints on the technique.

Senko's form shifted a little, he could the current traveling through the ground to Amaya, he could see Rin's mighty chakra blast traveling towards the caster, he could see the kunai throwing jackass standing not to far from Mr. Zappy, he could see the ninja he incapacitated laying on the ground, and next to her stood the dumbass who tried to punch him...... one was unaccounted for. He'd have to find him later. Utilizing Shunshin Senko's form vanished and reappeared behind Mr. Thunderpunch, his left arm popping out as he wrapped his digits around the back of the nin's neck. The seal on the palm lighting up almost immediately on impact. A white aura appeared around the other and slowly at first began to siphon off into Senko's left hand. Yet this assimilation continuously accelerated, and after only a second the once proud shinobi had become an old weathered man, and only a fraction of a moment later, before his crusted lips could part to protest the action, his body turned to dust.

Senko's left arm dropped, his form twisting around as he readied his next course of action. If Rin's chakra blast missed, then Senko intended to simply charge in there, kick ass, and maybe ask questions later... this of course only happening if anyone survived his badassness.

These kaminari shinobi were not amateurs, especially considering the assassination mission entrusted to them. Senko and Rin seemed to have taken advantage of the situation, but perhaps this was about to be turned…

Even under the mist, there were just some things that were impossible to hide—a large potent ball of charka was one of them. The caster of the lightening web performed a high back flip to a higher branch in the tree, dodging both the charka ball and performing hand gestures. When he landed, his jutsu was complete and he would show just how much control he had over that web of lightening on the ground. As if swayed by the wind like a normal spider’s web, the sparkling web became air borne, and expanded outward across the trees like a wall, end tendrils latching onto them. Then suddenly the mist was full of electricity. Lightning charka had a significant advantage over water charka and as a result, the water droplets in the mist suddenly became charged and they all now stood in an electric cloud. However, being so expanded, the paralyzing effects dimmed to slowing movement sufficiently instead of paralyzing—nonetheless the web now stood to affect Senko, Rin and….where was Amaya?

The shinobi that Senko had stunned with a punch to the nose was quickly recovering but still didn’t have enough time to defend himself against Senko’s attack and of course was turned to dust. With one dusted, and one’s frontal lobes seemingly bleeding, only three were left.

The shinobi that threw kunai was unaffected by the electricity in the mist—perhaps for the same reasons Amaya and Rin could easily see through the mist. Reaching towards her back, the kunochi unraveled a scroll, biting her thumb and performing seals before slamming her hand down onto the paper. In a poof of smoke, a long chain, brandishing dangling blades like an over sized necklace with an assortment of blades instead of chains and lengthening 7ft, appeared within her hand. The blades seemed to immediately sprout to life in the presence of the electric cloud, spinning wildly like windmills. The kunochi seemed to dance around, electricity gathering around her body before the blades swung in a deadly wave, severing the tops of the surrounding trees and sending a forestry of tree tops tumbling down like boulders, threatening those in both trees and on the ground. Rin who had not drawn within 7ft yet, was not threatened.

What the shinobi who cast the blinding light was doing was a mystery. But if Senko was still watching him through his vision, doubtful assuming he would be responding to the attacks, he would see the shinobi moving from away from the battlefield and towards Rin’s area…and suddenly [if his senses were still on] he would sense another charka presence transpire almost within the running shinobi’s—weak but rising expediently before it separated from the shinobi and seemed to vanish before appearing behind Rin. A shunshin technique.

Rin would have the visitor appear directly behind her before the running shinobi could even reach the area. As she, herself, stated, the kyuubi's jar made Rin stand out like a sore thumb and while the kaminari were not too keen on investigating the malevolent charka’s source, they had known it wasn’t the nine-tails [cause something that big would be hard to miss]. Behind her a kunoichi appeared, fingers forming the last signal of her ambushing technique. Surprisingly this was the kunochi that Senko was supposed to have taken care of at the beginning—how was she alive? Perhaps this was apparent by the familiar green charka that flowed through her hands—she was a highly skilled med nin. If she didn’t have the ability to control the electric signals between synapses, she might have not been able to force her blood to clot long enough for her to heal herself. Speaking of controlling neurons though…

“Mahi no jutsu!”

The kunochi slammed her hand towards Rin’s back. If connected, specific electric neuron connections to her spine would spasm and over load, paralyzing all functions but the ones associated with surviving—basically she only wanted to immobilize Rin. Perhaps they meant to keep/capture her for questioning.
Meanwhile the flashing shinobi ceased his running once he was satisfied and turned towards Senko and Amaya’s area, performing hand gestures a short distance away from Rin and the med kunochi.

“Hikari baria no jutsu!”

Light expanded from his body, spreading and expanding up about 100x100ft and barricading him, Rin, and the Kuniochi from Senko and the others in an electric light barrier. It was apparent now that he had grabbed and carried the med Kunoichi towards Rin while the kunoichi healed herself in order to initiate this.

In a order of events, the lightning cloud and blades happened more or less simultaneously while other two jutsu followed immediately after, the barrier occurring a moment after the Kunochi’s attack. If Rin could not save herself, between the effects of the electric cloud and the closeness of the Kunochi behind her, could Senko, who possibly suffered the same slowing effects in addition to the downsides of his [literally] mind blowing technique to see all, reached them before the barrier flourished? With lightning sparks dancing in the mist, and fires [though weakening from the mist] occurring in the forest, shadows flickered unstably about them. The battle was getting dangerous.

Where the HELL was Amaya?

In the distance, the ocean lining the forest seemed to roar angrily with pounding waves…and, perhaps, a distance melody was heard from above the battle field? Or was it just the ocean sounding louder by the second?

PostSubject: Re: Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni   Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni Icon_minitimeMon Sep 06, 2010 5:02 pm

So her attack had missed, and the Nin had closed in on her, or rather, had attempted to. Rin mused over this fact for a few, brief seconds. The Kyuubi jar was held ON her back, which meant that the woman would likely have to angle herself to the side to catch Rin in a spot that would be effective. Now mind that, the jar also made it difficult to move. It limited her movements, and her speed, hampering her effectively. But was she willing to lose hold of something that could further her the way she sought? Would allowing these Nin to take her, bring her closer to her desires? Absolutely not. By all means, Rin had no intention of simply taking the hit and giving up. The decision was made, and despite the slowing effects of the electricity charged air, Rin still had speed. Not as much as was usual, but enough, she hoped, considering that most medical nins seemed to favor strength and technique, over speed, at least, to her knowledge. The woman could still surprise her, and throw that theory out the window.

The jar was dropped onto the ground, and Rin used it for leverage, placing her hand upon it as she swung her body away from the med-nin that had attempted to paralyze her, Rin had a good feeling it would take only a single brush of the hand for the woman to overwhelm her senses. And she was correct, as the brush of the hand grazed Rin's stomach as she twisted to avoid the touch, she felt the electric current pulse through her body, and it brought her to a knee as she landed on the other side of the jar. That ...surely was an interesting technique. However, a med-nin against med-nin made things difficult. It was likely they would be aware of just how the other would operate, or could make an educated guess, dependent. Also, as a Med-nin, especially one like Rin, while 'low levelled' by her village, had been interested in things far greater than simple mediocrity and basic attacks, she took this knowledge in, and sought to use it against her opponent. That being, the effected cells were simply 'cut off' by her own chakra flow, forcing them into submission. While this may cause more damage later, to those particular parts of her body, for now it would do. That didn't stop the pain, however, which slightly clouded Rin's mind. Med-nin's were not front line warriors, they were the support, but that didn't mean that they were strangers to pain, especially if one was from Kirigakure, who's sole training had been just that. Inflicting and receiving painful training. A Med-nin had to be aware of what EVERY technique they used felt like, and some of them were not pleasant at all.

Her chakra built, running through her hands like fine daggers. Lightning, like all things, had positives and negatives. It was no different than the conversion of chakra, aside from the factors of - Well, no, really. It was the same. A positive force flow, once tweaked, easily turned negative. Manipulate neuron's in the brain, and one could easily turn off the pain receptors in the body, a risky move, but one that Rin was willing to partake in.

Rin eyed the woman, as if sizing her up for a moment before twitching her fingers as she rose to a stand. She would wait for the woman to approach once more, and hopefully be able to lay a hand on the opposing med-nin. If she could gain that connection, she could draw the chakra from the woman as well, and use it as her own. Taking chakra from the Kyuubi through the last few days had taught her how to make an instantaneous connection, and in just as little time, convert it. All she needed to do was gain a hand on the woman.

PostSubject: Re: Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni   Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni Icon_minitimeMon Sep 06, 2010 5:39 pm

Senko's mental gaze didn't not focus upon any particular individual at this time, rather it took in the whole. Rin engaged in her fight, the super static web and electrical cage, and the nut case swinging around a bunch of blades.... Amaya was outside his range of visibility though. Options were weighed, he'd had free movement of 100 by 100, the nut with the blades effective area of attack was around 6 to 8 feet. 100 feet was plenty of room though, and while the static field would hinder muscle movements, it wouldn't be a worry for Senko.

"Still one unaccounted for shinobi... damn." The strain was becoming too great, and so opting to fight within his normal capacities, Senko ended his extrasensory technique. His form darting flush against the ground as one of the many blades passed over him. His hands then with little hesitation made their way to the clothing of the dusted shinobi, pulling several kunai and shuriken from pockets and pouches attached to the garb. As another blade came crashing down towards him Senko's form slid to a stand and leapt back, immediately his arms crossing as he chambered all of the ninja tools at once. A massive amount of positive chakra pushed into and then as he swung his arms forward opening his digits, a massive burst of negative chakra erupted behind them. Immediately a loud boom would be heard as the ninja tools exploding from Senko's form at super sonic speeds. Being positively ionized they would draw the electrical charge of the mist around them, towards their own forms causing a bolt of lightning to follow in their wake.

There would be a total of 7 kunai and 9 shuriken, none of them tossed with a target in mind, but rather released in a shotgun like fashion straight ahead of Senko. Why? Because the blade swinging nut case was in front of him... along with the wannabe spiderman. Of course there was also another benefit to this course of action. Because these 16 ninja tools were heavily positively ionized, they would naturally draw electricity too them. Which mean that the amount of electricity that Rin and Senko would have to deal with would be significantly decreased. At least until the tools lost their ionization.

PostSubject: Re: Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni   Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni Icon_minitimeTue Sep 07, 2010 11:08 am

When Rin fell to a knee, she unfortunately wouldn’t have much time to analyze the med nin because the kunoichi had no intention of chit-chatting or wasting time. Digits sealing together to form blade like hands, the signature med green charka covering up to her elbows, the Kunoichi stabbed her hands at Rin as if they were swords. Rin would definitely push her luck if she tried to touch any of the glowing charka and absorb it. Touching charka that was already meant to enter her body and paralyze her motor neurons would be very brave or very foolish. Even physically blocking this charka should have been a big no-no. The kunoichi’s first strike would be a palm to the shoulder as the other hand prepared to defend herself or strike out again depending on if Rin decided to dodge or counter.

The second benefit to the lightening cloud for the kaminari nin was the sparks that danced around the people it hit, like they did on Amaya’s legs when she was caught, making them visible in the mist. The blade dancer, who was aware of Senko’s location and sensitive to the ionization of the lightning, twirled in rapid circles. The blades, as if controlled more by the lightning they danced to than her movements, swung in a blinding waves around her body, the humps and troughs occurring so frequently that she seemed covered by a wall of spinning blades. While she did not know what Senko was trying to do—his distance and ionization of the blades gave her the assumption he was going to propel something at her other than himself. When the blades, covered in lightning reached her blades, spinning metals seemed to attract towards it like a magnet, the spinning clanking the kunais and stars, absorbing the lightning and knocking each one off course. Her dancing become more and more of a blur with the added lightning and she leaped from the tree branch with a charged push, the body covered in blades flying at him like a missile.

Meanwhile the lightning manipulator glanced up, seeming unconcerned by his lightning being taken away. Clouds were gathering within the sky, becoming denser by the moment. Turning his head back towards the battle, he formed another signal and the lightning web broke from the tree and at amazing speed, shot at Senko at well, threatening to connect before the flying metal of the dancing kunoichi—acting more as a net to encase him than a web. As the web was the origin of the lightning cloud’s charge, the closer one got to it, the closer to being paralyzed your slow movements were. If Senko was wrapped by this web, he would get the full experience of it. Rin would find that the lightning cloud's effects drifted from her though.

It was around this time that a melody pierced the forest, becoming louder and louder by the moment.

When Amaya had told Senko to jump, that was exactly what she did, and although the melody was drowned out by the explosions, she used jutsu get her…really high. Amaya was falling towards the forest, a flute pressed against her places that she had been playing from some time. If one looked into the distance of the forest, they would see why. A massive tendril of water was extending from the ocean and moving towards the battle field. Rin and the Kunoichi would be the first to noticed the big blow of water before it halted.

Let’s see how you like fighting the ocean you sons of bitches. Tajuu Mizu Byou!

The blob burst into hundreds of small tendrils, pouring down into the battlefield. While some poured down onto the Rin’s area, other traveled easily over the wall and rained havoc on Senko’s area. The girl with the dancing blades, who was still flying at Senko from the distance, didn’t stand a chance against the lively tendrils and penetrated from open bottom and top, spearing her like a fish all the way through. With the rush of water, her momentum was stopped and she fell and hit the ground, her own spinning blades making the death unnecessarily more messy . The lightning user through, noticing the mass tendrils, immediately began to dodge and avoid the striking tendrils, constantly moving from the massive attack. The light barrier, who also saw the tendrils, wave a single hand over his body like a rainbow formation and the light barrier bended in the same fashion to counter the tendrils that tried to rain down on them. Senko, who would also be caught in the storm of tendrils, would find that they bent around his body in avoidance, and in addition, absorbed most of the electricity [though he’d have to deal with the net before the tendrils arrives].

Amaya fell into the dense cloud above and disappeared, though her melody still played.

Senko was dumbfounded, a head on attack? Are you kidding me? There were so many options..... so many choices. Now thanks to the hidden mist jutsu there was an abundance of shadows which would allow for him to use any number of techniques. Hell he could use the shadow consumption technique that he used on the eight tails against the med nin Rin was fighting, while using his shadow walk technique to switch places with him effectively placing the med nin in the kill path of the bladed bitch. OR! With a head on attack like this one, he could just use a S rank kill technique... like say Kage Kaji. Which would effectively eat the blades, the nin with blades, the electrical web, and most of the mist. This of course would drain a vast majority of Senko's chakra. Of course the other option, one which Senko was leaning towards was Nenryou Geru Henjou. A release of frozen fuel gel in a stream at the bladed nut would not only effectively freeze her, but with the heat from the electricity super heating it the true beauty of the attack would be that the frozen bitch would be a flying ball of napalm. Then a shadow switch could be performed with say.... spiderman over there.

Of course this was all thought of before the tendrils became apparent. "Aw... fuck it." Senko's shadow suddenly opened up and his form was swallowed into the shadow realm. This effectively removing him from the battlefield and out of harms way. Of course just because he was in the realm of shadows did not mean he was not to be a pacifist. With several quick hand movements, another jutsu would be performed.

The jackass with the light barrier that was fending off tendrils would suddenly find his shadow bursting up around him, latching onto his light shield and body, and pulling him into the shadow realm.... a realm of complete darkness.

Rin only hesitated a brief moment, as if analyzing the situation she was in once more. Perhaps that was part of her problem was that she over-thought things. As the other med-nin surged forward, Rin was immediate to identify the attacks, and instead, when the woman approached, she shifted back, very nearly lurching her shoulder from the woman's touch. Now, given that the basics of the other's attacks were medical, it was easy enough for her to identify the fact that to pull it into her own body when it was already bent on destruction would be a bad idea. No, she'd have to avoid the woman as long as possible. When the woman's second hand came up for attack, the white tressed female immediately rolled to the side. Where had her Katana gotten to? It was an idle thought, one she paid little heed for the time being...that was, until the glint of it caught her eye.

About that time, she felt the heaviness from the cloud's effect drift from her, and her speed increased nearly double, and she activated the Shunshin step, pausing only to grasp the katana in her right hand. Knowing that the med-nin would pursue, Rin was also aware that, the katana put her at a slight disadvantage, but pulling that chakra into her body would be a bigger one, for it would stall her progress if she had to keep it from destroying her body. As it was, she felt the effects of the lightning that had already entered, her left side was slightly sluggish.

Ignoring that fact, Rin waited as the woman approached, surprised by the other med-nin's speed, for Rin had barely had enough time to gather up her weapon and prepare a slight bit of defense. As the med-nin approached, her sword struck out to swipe horizontally at the female, to hopefully set her off balance at the very least.

And Rin was correct that it would set the other med-nin off balance, but at the same time, the woman recovered quickly and jabbed those hands at her once more, as if unconcerned about the sword. Growling softly, Rin immediately brought the sword up under her arm, blade side down as she twirled, pushing her back against the other med-nin. This was risky, and dangerous, but if done right, it would impale the other on the sword. Unfortunately, Shunshin seemed to be a well known and well-used method through all the villages, seeing as how the woman was no longer there, and was suddenly in front of Rin.

From this position it would be difficult for her to suddenly whip around and thrash the woman, and had to settle with dropping the Katana once more as hands rose to block those laden with chakra came down upon her. She felt it enter her system, and immediately fought back, it was too late to think of what damages might be done. Her palm met the other's midsection, and Rin immediately shoved her back, but not before activating Shinkeitsuu. [Neuralgia.] The method of this chakra attack was essentially to overload the other woman's central nervous system with pain. The chakra tendrils would seek out the pain receptors and send them into a panic state. Unless the woman was very gifted, it was unlikely that she'd be able to ignore the pain that would radiate through her body. Which left both her and Rin in matching conditions, afterall, seeing as how the kaminari med-nin had managed to hit her, thus disabling her basic motor functions nearly entirely. Rin was finding it very difficult to even stand, and had temporarily dropped to one knee once more, to steady herself as she attempted to fix what had been done. ...Though honestly, it wasn't something she really was sure she could fix right away.

Shadow tendrils moving up and capturing not only the shinobi but also the very large and very light producing barrier was something that the shinobi did not expected to be possible, but violating a shinobi’s expectations was the best way to destroy them and thus the shinobi who was more associated with the light aspects of lightning was kidnapped and taken into the very, very dark abyss of the shadow realm—it was a very interesting combination.

One of the key trainings of a shinobi was not to panic but this didn’t stop the light ninja was looking highly concerned at his new situation. Nonetheless, it was fortunate for him that the dark was the absence of light and not the other way around, the light shinobi couldn’t purify the entire shadow realm but he could melt away the void that particularly surrounded him—which was initiated by a few different gestures that were preformed earlier. A light barrier, similar to the one that he used in battle, covered him like a bubble and radiated the darkness surrounding him a good five feet both within and outside the the barrier—in addition acting as a defensive shield against Senko so long as he held the barrier from within. Then he felt it—a familiar and very potent charka.

“So this where they’re keeping you…”

With the motion of his hand forward, the light bent and streaked forward like a falling star throughout the darkness. The shinobi had forgotten about Senko’s existence and it wouldn’t take a genius to know where he was going.

Outside, the med nin’s charka seemed to falter as the pain embraced her body and she fell not far from Rin, grasping her body and taking a moment to scream before her clenched eyes opened and glared hatefully at Rin—who was also immobile. At this point it was a matter who could overcome who’s effects first and strike the final blow. Unfortunately for Rin, as stated before, this med nin specialized in controlling the electronic signals between the synapses in neurons. Ignoring pain…no that was far too difficult—but blocking her own sensory neurons that were associated with pain from reaching her brain—that was another, more easy, task. All she had to do was endure the pain…just for a moment…

The kunoichi focused….charka visible seen swarming her body.

And there! The pain was dulled to a simple pinch and the kunoichi opened her eyes with the most devilish stare in her eyes. Standing the kunoichi slowly stood, the familiar blade forms occurring in her hands and lifting before—she screamed and fell back, water tendrils shanking her through both shoulders from behind and sending her to the ground. Thanks to Senko, the barrier had been removed and Amaya’s tendrils were able to successfully reach the Kunoichi. Bleeding heavily, the Kunochi slowly raised her hand to her wound--there was minor pain but bleeding profusely from the hole in her shoulders was unwise--she placed her hands to her holes attempted to heal herself. This gave Rin time as the tendrils of water were, for some reason, beginning to falter and twitch within the air. This would be explained if one visited the growing cloud that hovered above.

Amaya, who had entered the thunderous cloud above the field midst falling, was surrounded by lightning sparks and her eyes widened apprehensively at the abnormal nature of the lightning that seemed to be condensing and becoming more unstable by the moment. However, she continued to play the flute without distraction until a flash of movement was caught in the peripheral view of her vision and she rotated her body just in time to dodge a punch. Eyes widening she noticed another shinobi within the cloud, through by the looks of him—he looked more like a man made of lightning. Amaya didn’t expect to be attacked whilst in the air and with all the mass water running through the forest under her control, if she broke the melody to avoid his future attacks…she risked drowning everyone [especially the immobile Rin]. So instead, with the next punch the shinobi swung, she purposely withstood, lightning surging her body violently as if she were hit by a bolt—she withheld the screams and continued to play the melody. The only advantage she had was that with pure energy attacks like lightning, Amaya was able to channel them through her flute and reduce some of the impact. But the strikes kept coming and soon Amaya was being kicked around within the cloud, the shinobi making a note to not let her fall out of the cloud.

The lightning web ninja make a quick turn behind a tree, water tendril crashing into the other side before he leaped again avoiding the additional horde that continue to attempt and take his life. He didn’t know where Senko went, but assumed it was through the shadows—his teammate had also vanished from his sensory array. However with Amaya’s tendrils chasing him restlessly, there was nothing he could do. Then suddenly half of the tendrils retreated and elevated towards the cloud above--Amaya needed help. The shinobi landed on a branch having a moment to pant due to the reduced tendrils before he leaped again.

“Only a little while longer and this place is history…”

PostSubject: Re: Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni   Oto no Kuni/Ta no Kuni Icon_minitimeFri Sep 10, 2010 11:03 am

It seemed that this shinobi wasn't comfortable within the darkness, that was unfortunate. In this world of utter darkness where light did not normal pierce, it was usually quickly and easily snuffed out. Only by assimilating with the abyss could one safely travel through it and leave. With his bright shield of light cutting through the shadows this ninja would never be able to leave as the shadow portals that normally manifested at ones will. Of course that was only if one can manifest their will in their chakra and then synchronize their chakra with the darkness... that of course requiring a nature alignment with yami itself. While this Shinobi obviously wasn't freaking out and was highly protected in his little bubble, he would have no way of escaping. Most likely he would die here from starvation.... or from Senko.

Senko watched as the nin scanned through the darkness concentrating the light into fine rays to create a steady beam which would only cut a couple yards into the infinite shadows. It was a shame that he could no longer use some of his kage techniques, the shadow arrows would be marvelous for slowly chipping away at this defensive abilities, but that couldn't be helped he supposed.

Senko's right hand shifted up as a suddenly burst of lightning jumped from his finger tips, sliding through the darkness, and hit something concealed several yards away by the darkness. The shinobi of course caught the lightning strike, his eyes moving to the source..... of course he would never find it. A moment later a loud roar erupted from the shadows, Senko had opted to awaken the eight tails from its slumber. There was no reason for Senko to waste chakra trying to break through this pricks shield when there was a significantly more powerful entity here that could easily deal with it.

As the shinobi rotated in the abyss to the source of the roar, he would find eight tendrils slamming into his shield causing it to compact around him. His form was trapped, and from the darkness glowing eyes would pierce, hatred radiating from them to pierce the man's soul. Suddenly a massive maw would form from the depths of darkness and from it a massive ball of chakra formed of pure hatred and malice would launch forward slamming into the man's shield causing it to crack. The tendrils which constricted the nin and his shield began to apply more pressure, forcing the shield to condense further. Suddenly the shield shattered and as this happened the tendrils slammed into the nin's body. If Senko could have seen the man through the eight tails form, he would have seen the man's eyes bulge, blood erupt from his mouth. His eyes burst from their sockets, his head crack open with gray matter spurting out, and his entire body turning into a gory explosion of blood, bones, and muscle.

Senko's head shook a little as his form drifted back into another portal his form fading from the shadows and back into the physical plane.

The shinobi composed of lightning darted upwards readying to drive his fist through Amaya's gut, his hand jutting out only to be stopped prematurely. From within the darkness of the cloud Senko's form appeared, inbetween Amaya and the lightning god wannabe. The hand which was meant for Amaya had hit Senko square in the chest causing the voltage to travel through his body. Yet as the immense electrical power hit him, Senko forced himself to act through the pain, bringing his right hand to grasp the man's wrist. Senko's legs then sliding out as he wrapped them around the other ninja's waist. Senko's other arm wrapping around the nin's neck as he brought him in, keeping him completely wrapped up. Senko could feel the current flowing through him but he had to let Amaya finish whatever she was doing. Fortunately he didn't have to worry about letting go. Thanks to the current his muscles had now lucked up and he was firmly stuck to the other.

Rin fought against the raging chakra in her body, fought, and condensed it to a small area. While her motor skills were still damaged, she could at least stand and walk now, if not but a bit sluggishly. Having focused the chakra into her left arm for the time being, it flopped uselessly against her side, and she stumbled towards the downed med nin, picking up her Katana along the way. She flipped it gently in her right hand, and advanced as the woman was attempting to heal those gaping holes in her shoulders.

Rin immediately brought the blade down, and into the gut of the med-nin, before lashing her hand out to catch the woman around the neck, provided she had no more tricks up her sleeves. The chakra that had filled that had fully intended on severing the windpipe and jugular vein. This would succeed if the woman didn't move, and likely even if she did. The woman would drown on her own blood, and it was only sheer stubbornness that kept Rin alive and still moving, for the time being. She couldn't die here...not when she was so close to even thinking of attaining her goals...

Yet it all seemed so far away now. But if she could prevent one more needless death, needless tears, she would do anything...Even if it meant having to sell her soul to the devil himself. Steeling herself with this resolve, she hobbled towards the Kyuubi jar, and placed her hand upon it as she drew on the chakra of the demon fox. Slowly, but surely, she was able to flush out the med-nin's chakra, though it left her with a horrid headache, and even worse nausea. So bad was it, that Rin lost the light lunch she'd eaten earlier. Shaking, and still barely able to stand, she wiped her mouth, and moved over to retrieve her katana.

Two down and two to go. The numbers were dwindling in Senko, Amaya, and Rin’s favor, but time was not.

The shinobi within the cloud was, needless to say, shocked by Senko’s sudden appearance between his fist and his punching bag, and even more surprised when Senko performed a body locking move upon his electric form. While one hand was free, the other was not and thus Senko bought time by not allowing the shinobi to perform his final attack. However, this did not stop the electricity swarming around them, within the cloud, from continuing to grow increasingly unstable like a ticking time bomb. Senko would, perhaps feel this instability first hand as the volts swamping through his body were gradually intensifying. The shinobi’s remaining free hand swung angrily at Senko’s side as he demanded Senko’s release of him with a…strange tone of desperateness. This punching would be repeated mercilessly unless Senko found a way to unlock his limps.

“You…” Punch. “Damn…” Punch. “Brat!”

The surprised lightning shinobi was nothing compared to Amaya when Senko not only saved her from another painful attack, but placed himself in mortal danger so she could continue with her own technique. Amaya began falling again as gravity was finally able to grasp her again, Senko gradually moving further from her as he clung to the levitating shinobi. Amaya really did hate being a damsel in battles, symbolized by the mixture of shock, shame, worry, and general annoyance across her countenance—but she didn’t have time to scream and shout, the increasing energy within the cloud told her that if the shinobi wasn’t killed soon—they all would be in trouble.

The tendrils of water rose into the cloud and immediately slammed into the shinobi’s back like several whips, stopping his punching before the fourth could occur—Senko and the shinobi were forced forward [or rather backwards for Senko]. With each thrash, the water absorbed and distorted the current of electricity, disrupting the constant flow but also Senko’s invincible grip. Due to Senko’s close vicinity, Amaya couldn’t afford piercing the shinobi straight through—operating enough to force to pierce the shinobi but not Senko was too delicate when she was already controlling a hundred of other tendrils. Withdrawing his fist again, the Shinobi moved to uppercut Senko’s left elbow joint in an attempt to break not only Senko’s already weak arm, but also the hold upon his wrist. Then, with a final whip of Amaya’s tendrils, the current within the shinobi’s body seemed to short circuit completely like any electronic device in the presence of water and the lightning shinobi suddenly was…just a shinobi—and they all fell from the cloud.

When Amaya exited the cloud midst her fall, the other remaining ninja had leaped from the top of a tree, performing a hand gesture before the lightning web shot from his palms to incase Amaya. A wall of water tendrils rose before her body and absorbed the web, allowing Amaya to safe passage to a tree branch. Even still, her fingers danced across her flute as the electrified tendrils curved and chased after the web shinobi, a sitting duck in the air. Whether it was skill, strategy, or just stupid luck, the shinobi shot his hands out towards the tendrils and they stopped immediately, vibrating violently with the electricity coursing through them. All at once, the shinobi who manipulated lightning realized that he had control over the tendrils that were charged with his charka. The gain of power only lasted long enough for the shinobi to thrash the few tendrils at Amaya, blessed with the element of sheer surprise, and managing to struck her once to the ground from the branch. On her back, a bruise forming across her exposed stomach, Amaya expressed a serious ‘what the fuck’ countenance.

But this expression suddenly transformed into fear as she gazed into the cloud that Senko, and the shinobi he clung to, recently departed. When the Shinobi’s body lost its current, the cloud had seemed to have lost it core of stability. The cloud sparkled and flashed as fierce lightning bolts chaotically occurred within it. Even the lightning web shinobi, who was once glowering at his successful assault against Amaya, glanced up at the cloud and looked positively horrified. In the next moment he turned tailed and leaped from the area, towards Rin and away from the cloud.

The energy within the cloud was too condensed and too excited within the vapors that barricaded it. The lightning wanted out and without the shinobi to channel and control its current through his own body, it was going to release all at once. It was a fucking ticking time bomb.

Back where Rin was, she would notice the water tendrils in her area suddenly rushing all at once towards the center of the battle field that raged just under the electric cloud. After witnessing her water absorb lightning so many times…Amaya had an idea to counter this…but with her charka running immensely low from the nonstop usage of her charka—she wasn’t sure if she could manage in time. This thing was about to go off any second…literally. And if a lightning shinobi who was supposed to be resistant of this type of charka was running ashen faced, Amaya could only imagine the potency. Above her, the tendrils were merging under the cloud into a large mizu byou.

As the electrical current died down, Senko could slowly feel control returning to his body. A wicked smile traveling across his lips, his left arm quickly relinquishing the fiend as he maneuvered himself away from the other. The upper cut moving only a few inches from him. Senko's chakra flared up and as it did Senko's left leg jutted out driving the whole of his foot into the shinobi with such explosive force that he blew the individual out of the cloud, his form sailing several hundred meters away. Yet the reason behind this kick wasn't revenge, no it was because that chakra flare up saturated the other with a massive amount of positive chakra. In fact there was so much positive chakra that the shinobi would become heavily positive ionized.

Holy Horny Hippo's Batman, what did this all mean?

The answer would become readily apparent to everyone only moments after the shinobi erupted from the cloud. A massive flash of lightning would burst from the cloud chasing after him. The bolt easily almost a mile in width, yet the unique aspect of this lightning bolt was that it wasn't traveling straight down to the earth, it was following the exact path which the shinobi had taken. Meaning that the blast shot sideways out of the cloud, and had now arched downwards towards the shinobi, and since he was the most positively ionized thing in hundreds of miles, this bolt was going to home in on him regardless of what he did.

The significance?

Senko was able to buy time. The massive cloud which was condensing and storing up energy would have a small amount of it dissipated, buying everyone precious time. Unfortunately Senko couldn't channel all of the lightning away, he could deal with small amounts. Of course given that Senko considered this to be a large amount that he was channeling away, it truly spoke to the nature and power of the cloud. With a few more moments bought, Senko focused his chakra into his feet and concentrated it into a single burst causing his body to rocket down from the cloud and down to ground. His form slamming hard into the earth causing it to ripple out from his presence..... hopefully.... Amaya had enough time.

As the lightning cloud intensified, Rin managed to gain enough of herself to realize just how fucked they were, if it went off. Then, she noticed the nin fleeing...well, that was never a good sign, to say the least. As the Nin ran towards her, Rin chose to leave him be. That was, provided he left her be. She had no intention of chasing after someone who was running from one of their team-mates own moves. Instead, when Senko's form moved towards the Earth, she began towards it, to ensure that he was okay. Seeing as that was a relative term, alive perhaps would have been more appropriate.

Provided she was left to her own devices, Rin would have approached the area that Senko had fallen to, carefully, of course, as if there was no concern about potentially being incinerated by the lightning doom above them. She only hoped that Amaya could do something about it, because there was nothing Rin had that would have saved them, and she certainly wasn't going to leave them there to die on their own. It just wasn't her way. Her hand reached out to prod at Senko's form.

The heavy exhales escaping her nose and the gathering sweat streaming down the sides of her face represented the sheer exhaustion Amaya was suffering as she continued to struggle through this most strenuous task. It was indeed her first time ever performing a Tajuu Mizu Buyou and playing it constantly for so long was taking its toll on her body. Her eyes focused intently but wearily at the tendril of salt water below the cloud that was growing as massive as it once was before she initiated the technique. The last tendrils that originally lingered near Rin’s originally location coalesced with the forming water mass and soon they were all engulfed in shadow from both the cloud and the water. Amaya’s limps were beginning to tremble as her body fought to remain consciousness.

Then suddenly the dense dark cloud illuminated brightly, dazzling the forest with a sun rivaling light—whether or not enough water had gathered was irrelevant now, time had run out. The tendril rose, reaching well past the cloud’s width, and swallowed it whole. Instantly the blue tint of the water seemed to convert into a sparkling white at the lightning rushed through the massive tendril like electricity within a wire, flowing directly through and towards the far off ocean it was connected to. The water began to bubble and vaporize, shrinking the conductor's size gradually. Miniature strikes of lightning randomly collided towards the ground around them as the water began to disappear into steam. Amaya’s eye narrowed at this and focused even more charka into her tune, water from the ocean reinforcing the tendril to expand its width once again. Gradually the light from the cloud began to fade, the blue color of the tendril returning until the last bit of energy reached the ocean and was consumed. It was a bad day for the aquatic creatures lingering within a a few miles radius of the tendril's base point.

The Maboroshi Yokobue slipped from her moist fingers and hit the ground beside Amaya, rolling a few inches from her body as the girl’s head fell to the side and those emerald eyes closed. While Senko and Rin would have plenty of time later to worry about Amaya’s health, the tendril of water resting above them would be their main concern. Without a tune to control it, the tendril dropped with the force of a large waterfall.

However, the water had only fallen about perhaps five feet before an invisible force collided into its surface and exploded into a loud wave of sound, causing the condensed water to dispersed greatly into smaller proportions as if thousands of liquid filled buckets were dumped from the sky. A second sound blast occurred, then a third, and finally a forth before the falling water had transformed into rain that merely soaked them harmlessly. And then...One by one, seven shinobi would land upon the remaining trees of the battle field. Each of their faces were hidden by masks but the musical note branded on the foreheads clearly stated their origin of Oto.

Amaya had completely lost conscious and thus could not react to this appearance, but despite the surrounding ambush like formation around them, the Shinobi didn’t make a move to attack. Instead, one of them glanced up where the electric cloud once stood before turning the gazes back towards the three, then to the others. After a moment, as if they had silently communicated, one leaped from the branch decisively and landed before them.

“Are any of you seriously hurt?”

The voice was male. The shinobi’s mask tilted slightly towards Amaya, whose breathing was so slow that it look a moment of examination to notice her chest was gradually moving with each exhale. Then masked shinobi turned his attention back towards the conscious two.

Senko winced greatly as Rin prodded, his fingers pushing into his busted up left shoulder. The pain which traveled through his body wasn't unbearable though, no rather he'd just spent several minutes getting the shit punched out of him by a bolt of lightning. In fact this was probably the least painful pain he'd be in.

"It's good to see you Rin, it's a shame we are probably going to die."

His gaze shifting up as he looked at the massive dome of water around them, this thing had to be almost a mile thick. His eyes focused in as he continued to examine it, only for the sudden bright white light to rob him of his vision. His eyes taking several seconds to readjust after. As vision returned, it would be his ears that alerted him to their next danger, Amaya no longer played. Senko could hear the rushing water cascading down towards them, and as it approached, his eyes scanned the area finding Amaya fifteen yards away. Could he grab Rin and Amaya and make an escape into the shadows with both of them, before being crushed by the remnants of the technique that had saved them? Probably not, but that didn't mean he wouldn't try. Senko had readied to dart into Rin and then over to Amaya when a sudden explosion brought his attention to the sky.

Another, and another, several more explosions going off causing the water droplets to disperse. "Jeez.... out of the frying pan and into the fire." With little thought Senko removed the scroll that contained the three trails and dropped it into his shadow letting it be consumed into the darkness. "Rin.... if we get out of this alive... will...... you..... fix up my left arm?"

As Amaya battled with the electricity, Rin wasn't sure what to think, especially with Senko's comment. Funny...Death was such a tangible thing, but...now that the initial battle with the other med-nin was over, she found..she wasn't so worried about it. It certainly wasn't confidence of Amaya's ability that made her not worry. Mainly because, she'd never seen Amaya fight until now. On the other hand, Amaya HAD Been doing some very crazy stuff, so maybe some part of her had decided that, logically, it only made sense that Amaya would be able to stop it. She wasn't quite sure.

"Don't say that, Senko. We're gonna live, have faith." Her voice was a soft hush, but there was a green glow that immediately illuminated her hands as she examined the damage that had been done to him. Senko -couldn't- die. Rin felt as though there was a part of her that needed the information that he held, or unknowingly held. As she concluded his injuries and the like, Rin was amazed at his durability. He had taken quite a bit of damage, and yet was still ready to fight. In a way, that was very admirable, and in another, very stupid.

As the sounds of Amaya's jutsu were gone, Rin quickly glanced around, searching for Amaya. But then the explosions happened, and she quickly covered her head, that was, until she noted that it was only rain that fell over them. Violet hues cast to the sky for a brief moment as a few quick blinks were given. So Amaya had succeeded. ...but damnit, more nin. Where they ever going to get a break? Rin's hand slid into her pouch, and she popped a soldier pill into her mouth as she quickly sweeped into a stand. Her stance was defensive, hand on her Katana before eyeing Senko. "If we get out of this alive, I'll fix your arm and give you a kiss." She snorted softly, but noted that the Oto-nin did not attack.

When the one questioned to their health, Rin's optics immediately moved to Amaya. Senko at least, was standing, and conscious. The med-nin removed her hand from her weapon and stalked towards Amaya's form, that warm, familiar green glow once more taking into her hands as the soldier pill replenished a small bit of her chakra, energizing her some. Amaya, was fine. But fine is a relative term. The woman would live, that was for sure, but it would likely take her a great amount of time to gain back the chakra that she had used. What Senko and Amaya required most, was rest. Though she was unsure of exactly how much to tell the Oto-nin. Her hues glanced towards the Kyuubi jar...And then back to Amaya, before settling on the man in the mask.

"...These two.." A motion to Senko. "Have some injuries, but mostly require rest."

The masked shinobi respectively took a few steps back from Rin as she approached as if to demonstrate their peaceful nature for the time being before he nodded to her response. The shinobi gave a humble bow of the head.

“We’re from Oto no Sato. You’ve done us a great favor in destroying the kaminari shinobi and the danger they presented to our land and as….a token of our gratitude we will not kill you.”

Just then another oto nin joined the bunch, the kaminari that Senko had struck with the lightning resting over his shoulder. A twitch of the charred, burnt fingers of the Kaminari nin indicated that he was alive, though barely. The shinobi glanced at his teammate, nodding slightly before continuing to speak.

“But we cannot promise this if you linger here suspiciously. Leave Oto no Kuni immediately and we will allow you passage through. Now if you’ll excuse us, there’s a Kaminari shinobi on the run that we must pursue. Remember to not to over stay your welcome.”

The shinobi didn’t await an answer, because it wasn’t an offer—merely a statement. With that, the Oto nin in the trees leaped out of sight in the direction of the retreating Kaminari. Amaya stirred under the influence of the Rin’s charka, her breathing increased to a more normal pace and muscles shifting slightly before she opened her eyes gradually. For a moment she had regained consciousness, her gaze catching the mask shinobi before they closed again and she was gone for the second time. The shinobi once again took a glance at Amaya before and he and his companion joined the fleet. The trio were alone again.

“Why didn’t we just kill them?” spoke the shinobi with the body over his shoulder. “They were vulnerable enough.”

“Because we have to convince her that we’re trusting and killing her allies would be detrimental. After we find this kaminari, we’ll demand a full report of her abilities and then I’ll be paying Shindo a visit.”

And the shinobi were gone.

Senko had ignored Rin's comment about a kiss as he sized up the shinobi. Oto no kuni... the land of sound. They had a notorious reputation for their brutality against other nations. In fact they had probably warred against all of them. They were small in size and population, but they were aggressive and merciless. They left no survivors and the torture that they implemented to force information out of enemies violated all treaties set between the nations. While the Mist had its own bloody reputation to consider, in recent years it failed in comparison to the sounds. Crimson eyes shifted over to another nin who appeared holding Senko's deep fried victim. A smirk moving across his face as he eyed his handy work. Defeating a shinobi with the element that he specialized in was a great accomplishment in Senko's mind. Of course he owed it to the strange technique that he had been taught so long ago. His mind raced as he tried to remember where he had learned it.... who had taught it to him, yet nothing seemed to click. It was probably for the best though.

His thoughts turned back to the Oto shinobi, Rin who had taken up a defensive stance, had seemed to settle into a more relaxed state, answering the Jonin's questions as if she was reporting to another med nin. Senko hadn't moved sense they had appeared, other than when he initially dropped the scroll into the shadow realm. There was no defense against sound, so if they were going to attack the only option was to immediately go onto offense and destroy them before they could act. Of course Senko had no doubts that with Amaya drained, Rin being a Kenjutsu specialist, and Senko simply being exhausted and having a busted up left arm, that there would be no chance of victory.

Of course bewilderment and surprise would be the obvious reaction when the Oto nin seemed unconcerned with their presence and simply dismissed them. Yet surprise would melt away into suspicion. Something was not right. The history of Oto no Sato was etched in stone, it was known world wide. There was no sudden change in heart, especially with a jar radiating the Kyuubi's vile chakra.

Senko waited for the shinobi to leave before he turned to look at Rin, "What the hell are you doing here with that thing anyway... and where the hell is Aoiro?" While Senko had initially been happy to see Rin, he'd also been given some time to think since she had arrived. Plus the weird actions of the Oto shinobi had raised his awareness level bringing about heightened suspicion. Rin and Aoiro had been sent to retrieve the Kyuubi, Rin was here with the ninetails... but there was no Aoiro. Plus she was in the land of sound.... she should have returned home. Senko frowned, yet the frown quickly melted away as he tilted his head towards the ground shaking his head. Had Rin worked something out with Oto? Was she betraying them? His right hand rose as he brought the digits of the fingers to brace against the bridge of his nose, a sigh escaping as he pondered his options.

"Why?"

As the nin departed, Rin eyed them warily, as if unsure of their departure. It could be a ploy to catch them off guard later. But ...that didn't make much sense. If she were them, why not destroy them now, when their chances of winning were slim, with Amaya down, Senko exhausted, and herself just as much so from previous battles before arriving. Not to mention, that med-nin had left a nasty surprise in that last bout of chakra, and Rin was still feeling light-headed from it. However, violet optics turned to Senko at his question.

She took a long moment to ponder how to respond to him, as she continued to gently repair Amaya to the best of her ability. What the girl really needed was rest. Unfortunately, it was unlikely she'd get a whole lot of it unless she remained unconcious. Without a word, she moved towards Senko and let her healing chakra begin it's work on his arm. The damage was extensive, it'd likely take days for a med-nin to repair the damages....But Rin was also drawing from the Soldier pill and the Kyuubi. Having been familiar with Senko's chakra was likely helping as she worked in silence, contemplating. Did she dare tell him she'd left Aoiro and taken the Kyuubi with no intentions of returning to Kirigakure? ...She didn't know Senko that well, despite the time they had spent together. How would he react? Furthermore, would it be wise? ...Would he run to the Mizukage?

Heaving a harsh sigh, Rin cleared her throat. "Aoiro is safe. As far as I know, by now, he's back at the village." Violet hues were downcast as she spoke, and her fingers gently kneaded the flesh of his arm as she pushed the healing chakra in. "I...needed the Kyuubi. No, need the Kyuubi." Rin then let her gaze settle on Senko. "...I need it to help me find a jutsu that will allow me to stop needless deaths. I assumed, that the Mizukage would not allow me to keep it. Why should he? I'm just a med-nin."

And she left it at that neither confirming or denying Senko's suspicions of the Oto-nin, even though she had nothing to do with them. Lifting Senko's arm a bit, and gently rotating the shoulder. "Does that hurt?" She questioned, though it would likely still be a bit sore, it would be functional. Her hues cast to Amaya. "Anyway, we don't have time to waste, those nin won't exactly be as welcoming if they come back a second time. Honestly surprised they just left the way that they did." She cast a semi-worried glance towards the area that the Oto-nin had gone.

Even as Rin walked away from the unconscious Amaya, she trembled in her blackened state, her mind going through more strenuous experiences than her body. The girl found herself reflecting on the past in this most exhausted state.

“PLEASE!!! STOP!!!” Her child voice called out desperately with no other response but her parents’ screams.

“Return to your village and discover what is precious to you, what is worth saving, and who really cares about you. When you find that there is nothing, I’ll be waiting for you. Your real family…” The voice of Shindo…

“There are a lot of things to consider. Will this new found strength make me strong enough to keep the repercussions of my betrayal from killing me? Will I lose those that I love and care for.... and what do I need with this new found strength? What can I accomplish with it.” Senko’s voice…

“If you betray all that you have for strength, what do you have left to protect with that strength? What is the point of having strength if you have no reason to use it?”

I want to become stronger…I must…why do I feel this why?

Eyelids clenching Amaya turned over slightly.

Senko flexed his left arm, while it was sore it was now in far better condition than it had been. But had Rin condemned herself? Should he kill her? Could he? What loyalties did Senko have to the village, as apposed to Rin? Rin had shown him kindness, she had helped him, fed and housed him when he had nothing. Yet the Mizukage had accepted him as a chunin and given him a job. It was frustrating, a decision like this would be one that could determine the rest of his life. What about his loyalties to Amaya and Aoiro though, if he sided with Rin... was he betraying them? A growl formed within his throat and slowly carried itself upwards and out of his lips.

"Rin, you don't know that. You are a respectable med nin, and a scientist. Maybe if you shared your ideas with the mizukage... who knows? I mean there would obviously be some sway to letting you keep it since you obviously have some experience with manipulating its chakra. I mean why would whatever you need its chakra for be outside of the needs of the village." It was then that it dawned on him. Senko realized that Kirigakure no Sato had a high number of missing nin, and many of them probably left for similar reasons to Rin. And when they left they were met by Hunter Nin, and killed. Maybe there was another way, a way to negotiate this without violence. Maybe their goals could be achieved while still benefiting the village. It was now, Senko decided that he would start a group that would work towards this goal. He'd find a way to help nin's stay, to help them work towards their goal, and at the same time better the village.

"Hikari Inai Yami Towairaito...."

He murmured as his eyes glazed over in thought. That would be the name of the group.... and they would succeed..... he couldn't be forced to make stupid choices like this. "Hakumei.... A good nickname."

Senko's attention returned to Rin. "Please Rin, don't do this. At least let me try to help you out? There is no reason as to why your goals, your desires, cannot be beneficial to everyone!"

Rin watched the internal struggle that Senko faced, and she was confused by it. Senko owed her nothing, why there would even be a struggle in the first place, was beyond her. Any attachment he felt, she clearly did not understand, for violet optics gazed upon him in confusion when he growled. However, at his words, she rose a brow. Could she take that risk...Her form moved away from him, and she paced slightly...circling the Kyuubi jar once before chewing on her index finger.

When Amaya shifted, her attention was immediately on the woman, but she did not go to her side. Physically, Amaya was fine...mentally however, that was not something Rin was equipped to heal. Her attentions returned to Senko's comments and questions.

"I...I don't know, Senko....If he doesn't let me, I may not get another chance to do what needs to be done." Of course, the Med-nin had little dealings with the Mizukage...so she was unsure of how he would respond to such a request. Instead, she shifted uncomfortably, sighing softly. Could she take the risk, or should she just escape from Senko now, while he was weaker?

At Senko's plea, however, she conceded. There were consequences she'd have to face if she returned to the village...and that might put the sway of the vote not in her favor. But something told her that Senko's assistance would likely be more vital to her cause, than to have him fight against her.

Her pacing ceased, and she moved over to pull Amaya into a sitting position, before awkwardly pulling the other girl onto her back, and motioning to the Kyuubi jar. "If the Mizukage denies my request, I hope you know that I'll never forgive you."
