Idaku Kenpan wears a white tunic made of a special metal fabric made by his clan along with a white cloak with black trim. On his hands he wears fingerless gloves with his clan symbol on them. The gloves attach to a metal chain that wraps around his body and attach to a leather belt at his neck. During battle he uses this chain as a whip and changes the first few links into spikes.
He wears black pants that reach to his ankles and white ninja sandals. His body as a whole is muscular and he has a lot of scars from working in the forges of his clan. he has taken to mastering a weapon called a naginata, a long bo staff with a blade at the end. To keep from having to carry it around, as it is too large to just attach to his back he has sealed the staff into a seal on his right glove.
Personality:
Idaku is a strong willed person who will never back down from a challenge and is always willing to get into a good fight. That being said he is also very even tempered and calm. He likes to be in solitude but he doesn’t mind company, so long as they don’t talk too much. He is always trying to prove himself to his father by training and forcing himself to do better.
He isn’t going to go out of his way to become someone’s friend but if he does befriend you he will literally do anything for you. There are only two things he hates, traitors and threats to his friends or family. If you are found to be either one of those he will not hesitate to kill you right where you stand.

Kekkei Genkai: clan members have the ability manipulate metal. This manifests itself in one of three ways within clan members. They can either create it from outside their body using the earth and fire chakra they have as a conduit in creating it, they can create it on or out of their body transforming their skin or hair into metal or they have a dojutsu that allows them to see and act upon any weakness in a weapon. Description: the jutsu is pretty self explanatory. Using the clans special ability a Kenpan is able to bend, fold, move and otherwise manipulate existing metal. A piece of metal can only be manipulated within the bounds of its own volume meaning that if you have a cube of metal that is four inches on every side you only have twelve inches of metal to play with. A beginning user (Kenpan children are taught this technique the year before they become genin, sort of a rite of passage) can only use this on metal that he is within a foot of, or is physically touching, and the farther it is from you the more chakra it takes to manipulate the item. As you master the technique you can use it at greater and greater distances though the same restrictions still apply with the best results being direct contact with the item you are manipulating.

Description: the user can transform his skin into metal at the beginning level and go right down to the bone at the master level. A beginner can only transform parts of the body at a time and can only maintain it for fifteen minutes at a time. When they have mastered the technique a Kenpan can also transfigure parts of their body to become weapons of different forms. All of this translates into a style of Taijutsu called the steel fist, which is a blanket statement as every member of the clan develops their own way of fighting based off of this ability. The only other ability a user has is to manipulate metal.

The Kenpan originated a few years after the founding of konoha. The clan had always been loyal to the village and its founding members as the weapon smiths and specialists. After a few generations of using chakra to help in the forging the clan members began to naturally exhibit the ability to mold and control metal. It was one not until later years that the clan began to demonstrate the ability to create steel out of the earth surrounding them or to produce metal form their own body this new ability, finally giving them the status of a kekkei genkai clan.
The Kenpan used their ability to become world renowned weapon masters and smiths. They still provide most of the weapons for Kumo ninja and for the civilian community on the land of lightning and their normal armies. They each specialize in one or more forms of weaponry techniques or some form of metal manipulation. The downside to this clan is the fact that you are only born to have one aspect of the clans special ability, excluding the ability to manipulate already existing metal.
The clan has split into three branches, though each have equal power in clan plastics. The three branches are the smiths, the ninja and the guardians. The members with the ability to just do manipulation became the smiths. The ones with the ability to create metal became the ninja and the ones with the ability to make their skin metal become guardians. just because the ones known as guardians in the clans aren’t specifically called ninja doesn’t mean they aren’t. the reason they are called the guardian branch is because their ability is mainly defensive until they master it, usually at jounin level. All members of the clan participate in smith work but the branch that is most skilled in creating weapons are those in the smith branch.

[b]Description: the user creates steel in different forms and shapes from the earth around them. It is limited to a five foot range for a beginning user. This means that within a five foot sphere of influence around the user’s body any stone around them has the potential to become a metal weapon of some sort. This is limited by the same limits as the manipulation technique, since after the initial creation that is what this technique segways into. As a user advances in power and level they can create larger more powerful and complex items. There is also a second set of limitations to this ability a beginner cannot create stable metal, it will have multiple impurities and can break easily. The strength of these metals increase as a Kenpan gets stronger until they have mastered the technique being able to create completely perfect metal. Though again the size of the item can weaken the item. The only other ability they are able to use is to manipulate metal.

Description: Using the Goat skull piece on his leather chocker and the dangling part of his earing as a reciever Idaku will attach a piece of metal infused with his own chakra onto a fleeing enemy to track them this only works in a ten yard radius but does not require constant activation of chakra just the initial pump of charka into the goat head and the earring piece will heat up or cool as he gets closer to his target.

http://www.4discountknives.com/images/SH1020.gif the black dragon has a long black metal shaft and blade. In the bottom of the staff part of the weapon there is a compartment where idaku keeps a smoke bomb for quick escape if he needs it. It is about 6 feet long tip to tip and weighs four lbs.
Special Abilities/Characteristics:
Origin: as a rite of passage a Kenpan must make their battle weapon, idaku had trained most of his life with a Naginata, so the choice was pretty obvious. Using his ability to create metal he meditated for days in a stone field finding and drawing out the most perfect minerals for his metal and formed his weapon. Since he hasn’t fully mastered his ability he passed out from chakra exhaustion after making it but it was worth it.

Appearance: this is a simple chain whip idaku uses as his first stage weapon. It is about ten feet long and is attached to his left glove and the leather chker around his neck. When he wants to use it he will use his ability to manipulate metal to detach it from the choker and head inot battle. The moment he sees it make contact with a target he will change the links into barbed hooks and let hem stay in the skin detaching them from its length and them scrape the chain along the ground to get back the lost length.

Origin: Idaku made this weapon for use while he was in the academy and has stuck with it as his primary weapon, though he is better with a naginata he doesn’t like to reveal it unless he knows he will have to kill the enemy he is facing. The chain is mainly used for enemies he isn’t immediately going to kill.

History:
Birth Ark:
Idaku was born to the head of the creation branch of the clan. His father had been one of the strongest ninja in the village, a puppet master the likes of which hadn’t been seen since Sasori of the red sand. But his father had been killed a few years after he had been born in a battle. His mother took care of him but she was anxious to let him go to the ninja academy.
she didn't want to see her son get hurt. she cared for him a little too much as he was the only family she had left. but as he grew up it became obvious that he was destined to be a shinobi. even when he was a toddler hanging out with his older cousins in the forge he would play with the dulled kunai rather then watch his uncle forge them like the others.
Childhood/ Academy ark:
as a child he learned the art of forging from his uncle at the age of five. He started to show the ability to use the clan’s techniques around the same time. It started out as the normal ability to bend and mold metal and at the age of six his uncle tested him to see if he could create metal. When he tested positive his uncle convinced his mother to let him into the academy.
At the academy he was an above average student though not at the top. He was one of the strongest weapon users, mostly because he studied his clan’s techniques, which were a bit more developed then the ones used at the academy. During his time at the academy he also started to train in mastering his weapon, the naginata. Most expected him to choose his father’s weapon, puppets, but he found that he didn’t have much talent for the art, he could do basic chakra string manipulation but that was about it. He found that he was best suited for a chain whip and naginata. After he finished the set amount of years he graduated at just above average into his genin career
despite all that he had made some good friends in the academy outside of his clan. this above all else made him happy to know that he had friends in the world. it meant he had some one to protect and care for. he loved to hang out with them and train with them, mostly because he got to show off his awesome skill with his naginata.
