Shinn's Mission to the Village Hidden in the Grass

Shinn was waiting for the only other member of his team that he was leading Idaku to show up he was excited he is getting a chance to do somthing that should be left to at very least a chunin which was leading a mission. Shinn stood remembering what the Hokage had said. he had told Shinn that this mission was not to go on record it was a special ops mission he was to go and check out the Village of Grass because there have been reports of little to no sign of a demon chakra beast of any kind anywhere in there territory which was strange so Shinn had been told to go check this out as secretly as possible so Shinn had called Idaku over as soon as he had gotten permission to go Shinn no longer had his Shield Lance it had been broken by Idaku so Shinn now needed to fiind a new way to fight seeing as he couldnt just block any attack he wanted to now but he stil wasnt sure of himself but that didnt matter at this time what mattered was to keep focused on the mission he stood at the ready because he heard someone approaching

Idaku came up to the gate and took out a storage scroll. he handed it to Shinn and said, "i know it isn't the same but i had the master make it so it is as hard as diamond and can withstand any attack that is based on physicality. it isn't exactly the same and i think it is a bit lighter too. it is also chakra sensitive and will adapt it's shape to the user's chakra personality go ahead and try it out."

"Really sorry about that." he said again scratching the back of his head

(just allow for the chakra adaptation to allow it to change into a weapon of your choice)

Shinn looked at the scroll and opened the scroll and out poped a single sword with two blades one on each end then he pulled it out and spun it around quickly then brought it around his back and then he held it out in front of him wishing it was more travle sized and it shrunk down to just a handle and he clipped it to his belt "thank you Idaku ill always treasure it" then shinn straightened up "allright lets go" shinn started to run off out of the village

Running after his friend with his goat legs, he had been able to access the demon chakra more easily after he went berserk, he asked "so what are we doing exactly?" he had coem dressed in all black with baggy pants that would be able to handle his leg transformation he also now had small horn tips made of metal sticking out of his hair, for some reason even when he wasn't accesing the chakra those stayed on he would have to grow his hair out a bit to hide those.

Shinn looked at Idaku "we are going to investigate the village of Grass because there happens to be no demon beasts there which is definatly suspicious" Shinn said as he was running

"Well that is interesting, good thing you brought a sensor along." Idaku said with a smile, then he deactivated his demon legs, "if there is any dormant demon chakra in the area i think that is probably going to draw it's attention, ill try to keep usage at a minimum but it seems to be leaking more freely since the incident." he said with a shy smirk

Shinn thought a little "well then why not try a removable temp seal to block chakra " shinn said loooking ahead "because its not like its gonna mater once we are there seeing as there are supposedly no demons there" shinn leaped over a large tree

"right..." Idaku said taking out a brush and painting a seal on his arm, only whincing a bit when the seal activated. "so what was the pay for this mission again?"

Shinn looked back with an apologetic look on his face "uhhh um that was the price I had to pay to recieve the mission and be the leader was that we would get no pay for it eehhe woops" Shinn said with a small smile "sorry"

idaku just shrugged, "we're in war time it happens, so do you know any stealth techniques? since you are an earth type i can teach you the may fly jutsu, it wont take to long actually it is sort of a reverse of the sismec sense jutsu

"nahh imm good" Shiin lied the truth is he really doesnt like closed spaces like that and it just doesnt feell right what if he ran out of chakra while he was underground heed b stuck there forever or untill he ran out of air "i dont think id be able to compprehend that kind of technique "shinn said but the sun was starting to get high in the sky "come on we need to get there around sun set and we still have a long way to go" Shinn said as he used NP to go much faster

Idaku nodded and used NP, he went much faster with it now that his demon chakra was activated. he remembered one of the principles behind the technique that the more potent your chakra was the stronger the jutsu became. sensei could move so fast he left a trail of fire in his wake as well as an after image. even when idaku was going full speed he couldn't do that, what the hell was his cousin. he remembered one fact about his cousin at that point. Taku was from his father's side of the family the main branch. his mother was from one of the lower classes of the family. what did that mean for him and for his cousin, for the main branch family too.

he told Shinn about this "what do you think could the main branch be decended from a minor demon? i noticed that hte ram horns where metal and the fur wasn't actualy fur but extreamly fine metal hair."

"i havnt the slightest damn clue i couldnt tell you" Shinn said in all honesty bbut he was getting a forboding feeling the closer he got to the grass village he kept running and ran for several hours before they got close it turned out that he had timed it just right the sun was just setting when Shinn could see signs of civilization they were now in a sahana like area but still had sparatic clusters of tree from the leaf forest they were fairly close together so they could slip into each one to mmove around but after a while Shinn removed his headband and performed and tranformation jutsu to put him in some loose traviling clothes "get changed we are going in"

Idaku nodded but looked at his team mate, "we are going into a shinobi village a simple henge wont work here, they will be able to sense the active chakra the second you step into their boarder." he said taking off his clothes and changing into cvilian clothes. he sealed his chain and earings into his seal on his arm and messed up his hair and used a simple medical technique to age his body to make him look old. "can you make me a walking stick young whiper snapper" he said in a very convincing old person voice.

"hmm sure can " Shinn took out his new weapon and channled his chakra into it and willed it into being a simple walking stick "here you are grand father" Shinn said "now transform me into a little kid"

"it takes more chakra to reverse cell growth.... fine guess it is necissary." Idaku said doing a few hand signs and reversing shinns age so he was about ten. "hows that, your vocal coards and internal organs havn't changed so your going to have to work your voice a bit."

"fine watever old man " shinn said his voice getting higher as he completed the sentence "so lets go when we get in i want you to look like your sight seeing while i go search around ok" Shinn said "also im giving you the easy job so be happy your on vacation"

"bah shut up boy" idaku said shaking his stick and starting to walk like a crotchety old man. he hunched his back and let his lip hang a bit and glared at every one they passed.

Shinn dashed off laughing and smiling like a little kid would he searched around the worst spots in town first looking for anything that reaked of demon chakra wich nothing did so eventually afterr a few hours of searching shinn used the seismic sencer jutsu but tweaked it abit to just look for chakra this was hard and it was bordering on impossible since he was getting dangeerously close to the byakugons ability but he wasnt seeing the chakras he was feeling them eventually he felt somthing that had been tainted byond all possibilties coming from the outskirts of the village so Shinn dashed to check it out before calling Idaku to him so they could both see it

Idaku went 'sight seeing' looking for anything or any one suspicious in the town square. he felt shinn;s chakra subtuly searching through the city and connected to the stream with his own sismec sense jutsu letting shins lead the way as he looked around the square. when he felt the taitned hcakra he followed shinn immideatly and met up with him about a mile away from the target spot. "any ideas?" he said dropping their transformations for easier movement. he also placed his hand over his naginata storage seal just in case.

"yeah" Shinn said inexplainable rage was filling up his entire being it was this evil chakra he knew it for somereason someone was stupid enough to be intentionally drawing it in and drawing on it it was really pissing him off "give me your walking stick old man" Shinn said with his hand out but got impacient and just took it from Idaku. The moment Shinn grabbed it transformed into its original double ended sword-staff but this time it was white like his white hot rage he was feeling "yeah i do have an idea were storming the place right NOW!!" Shinn roared the last word as he smashed through the door and walked onto some stairs that led down word

Idaku nodded and took out his naginata and let his horns grow out and become spiky, this also made his head get a little longer and hair grow on his face. though he kept his bottom half normal since he wasn't used to it. he charged and started bucking left and right at poeple while swinging his naginata and cutting people in half, leaving a red mist in his wake. he gave a savage roar as he felt a strong chakra come near him and looked up to see hundreds of what he thought where people in the air jumping from the roof of the building. but then he saw something glint in the sun, "puppet master!" idaku helled shooting needles at what he hoped where weak spots on puppets.

Shinn charged in cutting off limbs but never anything mortal he would never kill anyone his mind refused to do it he eneterd the room the Idaku had just entred right when he yelld pupet master Shinn used NP to slip around him and slased down then up quickly then he changed it into a huge monsterous spiked sword and swung it down again while building chhakra for an onslaught of earh and wood spikes to be shot at him wich they did and the guy didnt move a single inch but when the dust cleared there he was standin perfectly unharmed in anyway he just laughed and kicked Shinn right in the pit of his stomach and sent him tumbling away

Idaku cursed under his breath and made a spear out of his demon chakra and sent it flying at the guy who dared to hurt his friend. he gave a savage roar and ran at him with his horns down charging another ball of demon chakra when he was about half way there one of the guys puppets grabed him and tried to inject poison in him with a syringe but it broke on his metal skin. though he still couldnt move at all. he thrashed and tried to tear the thing off of him but it was stuck like a vice.

Shinn stood up and used NP to flow like water around his enmeys puppets attacks then he ducked under one last attack and sliced it right down the middle then shinn put on a burst of speed hoped over a low sweep kick used NP to make the kick go farther then the attacker ment to make it go then he kicked down on the joint breaking it then stabbed it throuugh the head then he quickly used NP to speed up his arms movment while also transforming his weapon back to the double blade weapon and took off both of the puppets arms freeing his friend then Shinn stared the puppet master down defiantly we can do this it is possible shinn thought to himself only then realizing that the puppet master had moved then another second latter realized that he was bleeding and he couldnt move very well "Shit Idaku we dont stand a chance we needd to run "

The puppet master laughed again and the way he laughed made it all to clear what he was thinking There is no way that both of you can leave this place alive

Shinn used NP to force himself to stand firmly then he looked back at Idaku and grinned "Run now get the fuck out of here you need to report back to the Hokage" Shinn said then knowing that he wouldnt litsen just like that "This is an order if you do not comply im going to just run at him without defending myself at all" Shinn said determinadly
